CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Feb. 3 โ In an effort to strengthen compliance and address recurring bottlenecks in the processing of Foreign Travel Authority (FTA) applications, the DILG 10 initiated a Virtual Re-Orientation on Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 2025-023, or the Guidelines on the Use of the Foreign Travel Authority (FTA) Online System Application (Version 3), via the Zoom platform.
In her opening message, LGMED Division Chief Corazon Vicente emphasized the importance of keeping the FTA process moving despite more detailed requirements and an increasing workload, particularly amid the ongoing National State of Calamity. She noted that recurring issues in documentary submissions and system entries continue to slow down processing and result in returned applications, which the re-orientation aimed to address directly.

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Feb. 3 โ The Regional Peace and Order Council โ Technical Working Group (RPOC-TWG) 10 successfully convenes the CY 2026 1st Quarter Meeting on February 3, 2026, at the DILG Regional Office 10.

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Jan. 21 โ Aimed at strengthening the implementation of the Barangay Justice System in the region, the DILG 10 officially opened the three-day finalization activity for the Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) Handbook and Training Manual.
The activity is conducted in partnership with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Department of Justice (DOJ to address issues and improve guidance on barangay-level dispute resolution.
In his openingg remarks, DILG Lanao del Norte Provincial Director Edward G. Bhagwani, JD, MNSA, CESO V, said the activity builds on earlier engagements and responds to concerns raised by barangay implementers.

The program highlights the vital role of the youth in the governmentโs anti-illegal drugs campaign by fostering education, awareness, and creativity through various activities including digital poster-making, reel-making contests, and on-the-spot poster-slogan competitions.
The culmination activity is set on November 18, 2025, at Balulang National High School, Cagayan de Oro City where students from select schools across the city will come together to showcase their outputs and strengthen their commitment to a drug-free lifestyle.
