These systems utilize digital tools such as QR codes, Google Sheets, and Gmail to improve accessibility, monitoring, documentation, and automated notifications.

The Equipment Inventory and Borrowing System, LGMED Borrow360, enables users to log borrowed items through QR codes, track borrowed equipment, send email notifications for borrowing confirmations and overdue reminders, and automatically generate the Request for Release of Equipment Form for equipment brought outside the office.

Through a systematic and criteria-based assessment, barangays were evaluated on their efficiency in operations, effectiveness in amicably settling disputes in line with the Katarungang Pambarangay, and the innovation and resourcefulness demonstrated by their respective Lupong Tagapamayapa. The availability of facilities and the level of financial and non-financial support further underscored each barangay’s capacity to sustain responsive and accessible justice mechanisms at the grassroots level.

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, April 7-8, 2026—The regional online assessment for this year’s Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) resumes, with nominee barangays from across the region undergoing evaluation and validation.

The validation covers the verification of required documents and supporting evidence related to the implementation of the Katarungang Pambarangay, as well as the provision of feedback highlighting their strengths and areas for improvement prior to the finalization and endorsement of qualified regional nominees to the national level.

The assessment is based on the following criteria: Efficiency in Operation, Effectiveness in Securing the Settlement of Interpersonal Disputes in accordance with the objectives of the Katarungang Pambarangay, Creativity and Resourcefulness of the Lupong Tagapamayapa, Area or Facility for KP Activities, and Financial or Non-Financial Support.

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, April 6, 2026—The regional online assessment and validation for this year’s Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) officially starts today, with nominee barangays—Balulang, Cagayan de Oro City; Poblacion 1, Oroquieta City; Cabasagan, Lala, Lanao del Norte; and Caromatan, Kolambugan, Lanao del Norte.

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Apr. 6 — The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) 10, through the Local Government Monitoring and Evaluation Division (LGMED), successfully held the 1st Quarter Pagpasalamat: Celebrating Dedication to Excellence in Local Governance on April 6, 2026, via Zoom Platform.

The activity gathered City and Municipal Local Government Operations Officers (C/MLGOOs), Provincial Office personnel, Cluster Heads, Program Managers, and Regional Office staff in a virtual assembly to recognize their commitment and significant contributions to the effective implementation of the Department’s programs, projects, and activities.

Regional Director Bruce A. Colao, CESO V, delivered the opening message, highlighting the strong start of the year and commending the field officers for their dedication, teamwork, and commitment in advancing local governance.
