2024 Alumni Meet Results (3/9/24)

2024 Alumni Team Highlights: Generally speaking, the warmups were the funniest part; former divers figuring out what they can still do!

Oscar, throwing some really big dives, his flying- ("the flying Mike") forward 1.5 tuck and reverse 1.5... the back-double!!!  Amazing!

Lizzy, who could still compete at a CCS event!  Very solid meet and some beautiful dives; the back dive straight, the forward dive pike, and her forward twister.  She rounded out the top-5, scoring points in both scoring-breakdowns!

Sammie, who is quite a character on the boards had a better than (even she) expected meet; lots of 6s, 7s, and even an 8!

Andrew still has all the basic dives and flips and scored 6s and 7s on a solid dive list; as did Kira who scored between 5.5 and 7 on all her dives!

And the 3 goof-balls; Joel brought Mathew (who didn't dive over the "Covid-Years" and Sascha, who still has some of the springiest forward 1.5s of anyone on our teams.  We followed-up the diving with some pizza and catching-up with the Alumni at Karla's home... and then trolled Jane over at her work downtown :)   Great job by the Alumni; it's hard to get on a board and do those dives after such a long time!!!  Can't wait to see who shows up for next year's 2025 Alumni Dive Meet!!!
