Netiquette, also known as internet etiquette, guides our online behavior with social conventions and guidelines. It promotes considerate communication, from avoiding offensive language to being mindful of others' privacy. By following netiquette, we create a welcoming digital space and encourage respectful interactions between internet users.

Additionally, netiquette goes beyond just good manners, it also includes important safety measures for a secure online experience. The internet is full of dangers and malicious users, so we must have countermeasures for these problems. 

My Personal experience with network safety and online etiquette: As a member of Generation Z, I've had a lot of exposure to the internet and most of the interactions that come with it. Thanks to the knowledge and experience I've gained through exposure, I grew up following the proper decorum for online use in general.

As a user of the internet, I've also had my fair share of encounters with risks. Yes, I've been scammed before, cyber bullied, had a breach of privacy, and most of the usual dangers you'd expect on the internet. Thankfully, nothing serious has happened; I will make sure I and other people do not make the same mistakes that will cause harm to myself and the innocent users of the online platforms.
