BEGINNINGS:

How can we build better connections within our community using our Community Hall was the question that was posed in late 2025. The Hall Committee are lovingly caring for the Hall but it was under utilized. Fresh ideas were called for.

Very quickly local residents became excited by the concept of a monthly Friday opportunity to gather and enjoy the music we all grew up with. Some pre loved couches were collected, a TV was donated, We hooked up to the Internet and "wallah" we had lyric based on screen music from YouTube and we surprisingly discovered we remembered the words to so many songs. 

One friday night in November we sang and danced the night away. Simple, memorable fun.

As 2026 unfolded, word spread and more people came. It was like the movie "Field of Dreams" We built it, and they came.... from nearby and far a field. Have you been?
