In 1899, the Lexton branch of the Australian Natives Association determined to buy and use the Doctor's Creek School as their Hall and for public functions. It was moved to its current location. (see image above).
Over the years, the Hall was added to (an ante room, kitchen, supper room, and annex. Increased use saw the need for greater parking in the modern era.
Over the years, the Hall was used as a Roller Skating Carnival, moving picture shows, minstrel shows, and Balls. Of course, it was a popular venue for many other celebrations.
!952. The land was transferred to the Lexton Trustees.
1958. Infant Welfare Centre.
1982 Extensive repairs were undertaken as the Committee were keen to see the Hall become the centre of social activities in Lexton.
In recent (2010 - 2025), various Committees diligently restored the Hall, ready to resume its pre-eminent role with a community focus.
