Memory Garden

The Lewiston Cemetery Association is planning to construct a Memory Garden near the current cemetery directory on the west boundary of the cemetery. There will be concrete benches, memorial pavers, a flag pole and a shaded pergola with landscaping around the memory garden. There will be opportunities to make contributions toward this project or to purchase a paver engraved with your family member's name.

There are several other improvements planned, including -

• tree removal on the south border

• widening the entrace gate to accomodate larger vehicles

• create a circle driveway to the south and add rock to the area

• trim trees and clear the area on the east border of cemetery

• remove evergreen bushes near the directory and landscape with flowers and perennials around the memory garden

The Lewiston Cemetery Board's goal is to have this project completed in one year, with a dedication ceremony when finished to proudly share with our community and families.
