Using the sample text below, practice how AI can support lesson design and student engagement. Complete the following tasks in order:

1. Create a 6-Slide Presentation

   • Break the text into six main ideas.

   • Design one slide for each idea using AI to help generate images, icons, or design layouts.
     
     

2. Write Higher-Order Thinking Questions

   • For each slide, create one question that requires analysis, evaluation, or creation (Bloom’s levels 4–6).

   • Use AI to refine the wording for clarity and rigor.
     
     

3. Design a High-Engagement Activity

   • Ask an LLM to suggest one interactive activity (e.g., debate, role-play, gamified quiz, real-world simulation) that aligns with the text and your slides.

   • Ensure the activity connects students to the standards and promotes collaboration.

4. Develop a Simple Structured Lesson Plan

   • Use AI to generate a short, clear plan with: objectives, materials, introduction, instruction, activity, and assessment.

   • Make sure each part of your plan references the State Standards included below the text.
