Junior High School students are at a sensitive age. They are at different stages of maturity and different levels of language knowledge. The materials that have been chosen reflect this heterogeneity and the needs of the various sectors of Israeli society. It is therefore the teacher’s responsibility to choose from this website what is appropriate for his/her class.
You may decide to skip or make some small additions to the material but the most productive way of maximizing the teaching of oral proficiency is by following the scaffolded order of tasks included in the syllabus.
