Let Freedom Ring 250 is a community-driven initiative designed to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary while strengthening families, promoting civic engagement, and supporting youth prevention efforts. Through fun, family-friendly “Adventures,” communities encourage families to explore local history, serve others, build character, and connect with their neighbors. The initiative brings together schools, cities, businesses, and community organizations to create positive experiences that strengthen protective factors for youth and foster pride in community and country leading up to the nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026. 🇺🇸

We’re excited to launch the Logan City Hub as part of the nationwide Let Freedom Ring 250 initiative celebrating America’s 250th birthday. This personalized hub (on the Goosechase App) allows us to highlight Logan City’s local America250 activities alongside statewide and national celebrations — all in one place.

Families can explore 50+ Let Freedom Ring 250 adventures, participate in community events, and celebrate freedom together as we count down to America's 250th birthday on July 4, 2026.

Subject: Utah Families Invited to Celebrate America’s 250th

Dear Editor,

As our nation prepares to celebrate America’s 250th birthday in 2026, families statewide have a unique opportunity to take part in a meaningful, nationwide celebration. And it’s FREE.

Let Freedom Ring 250 is a virtual, family-friendly Discovery Hunt sponsored by the Discovery Family Coalition. The Logan City Mayor and the Box Elder Safe Communities Coalition have given a ‘thumbs up’ to the prevention strategies incorporated into each Adventure. The initiative encourages individuals, families, churches, youth groups, and community organizations to explore the landmarks, history, and civic heritage that make their own communities part of the American story.

Rather than marking this historic anniversary with a single event, Let Freedom Ring 250 invites families to celebrate throughout the year — strengthening families, honoring freedom, and renewing appreciation for the principles on which our nation was founded.

Residents are encouraged to invite friends, neighbors, and extended family members to join them in participating and celebrating together.

Community Prize Donation Request – Logan City Discovery Hunt (Sample #1)

Hello [Name/Organization],

I’m reaching out because we’ve kicked off a community initiative in Logan City called Let Freedom Ring 250, a virtual, family-friendly Discovery Hunt designed to help families explore local landmarks, history, and community spaces as we prepare to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.

Participants complete simple patriotic and locally-focused Adventures—visiting meaningful places, learning local stories, serving others, and spending time together as families. Along the way, participants earn points and can win small prizes that help keep the experience fun and engaging.

We’re inviting community-minded organizations and family brands to help by donating small prizes that participants could earn or win through the Hunt.

Examples might include:
• Books or educational materials
• Free admission passes or discounts
• Product samples or gift items
• Digital resources or subscriptions
• Anything else you feel would be a good fit for families

In return, we’re happy to recognize participating organizations within the Hunt and thank you publicly for helping make the experience possible.
