My name is Leslie Guevara, I am 18 years old, and this is my first semester at CCBC. I am currently enrolled as a general studies major, but plan on getting my associate's degree in business administration.
One of the most important goals in my life is to be a better person each day, to learn from every mistake and become a woman I can be proud of.
I love makeup, good food, sweet treats, and movies that can make me cry, lol.
5 years from now, I hope to have effectively learned how to lead a team and be the head of a company. I hope I am making an impact on someone's life and being an inspiration for those around me.
As this course wraps up, I would like to summarize some of the most valuable things I learned throughout the semester. One of the first things that stood out to me was learning how to create an email signature and organize emails into folders automatically. This made communicating with professors and keeping track of classes much easier.
I also learned a lot about Excel, which was important to me because I plan to major in finance. At first, Excel seemed intimidating, but through the SimNet simulations, I learned how useful it can be for creating graphs, using formulas, and organizing data. I also learned how to create PowerPoint presentations that are clear, engaging, and informative.
Overall, this course taught me many useful technology skills that I will continue to use throughout my academic career and everyday life.
