EDUCATION

He completed his secondary education in Pyrgos, Elis, and Alexandria, Imathia (Primary, Junior High, and High School). In 1983, he entered the NCOA (Non-Commissioned Officer Academy), from which he graduated in 1985 as a Permanent Sergeant Armd. 

MILITARY SERVICE

• 1985 – 2011: Served in various Armour-Cavalry Units, as well as in the Army Summer Resort Agios Andreas and the Special Supply Centre for Units of the Hellenic Army.

• 2012 – 2013: Director of the Commander's Staff Office of the Higher Military Command of Interior and Islands. 

• 2013 – 2016: Three times Commander of the Port of Piraeus of Military Command.

VOLUNTARY ACTIVITIES

• 1973 – 1995: Cub Scout, Scout, and Scout Group Leader and Superintendent of Administration for the Local Scout District of Alexandria, under the Regional Scout Authority of Imathia.

• 1992 – 1993: Member of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Iraq (UNGCI).

• 2004: Participation in the security of the Olympic Journalists' Village at the Army Summer Resort Agios Andreas (ATHENS 2004).

• 2011 – present: Radio amateur, former member of RAAG's Emergency Communications Teams (H.A.R.E.S) and General Secretary of the Radio Amateur Association of Greece (RAAG). He has given interviews to both national and international media, has received several international amateur radio awards and recognitions, and has a significant collection of QSL cards on DXzone.

• 2019–2024: Radio Communications Volunteer for the Municipality of Agios Dimitrios, actively participating in the organisation of the "Eiriniodromia" event.

TODAY'S ACTIVITY

• Since 2023: Vice President of the Association of Retired Army Officers and NCOs.

• Since 2024: Public Relations Assistant at the Association of Retired Army Officers of Macedonia–Thrace (Graduates of NCOA (Non-Commissioned Officer Academy).

• Since 2024: Assistant Public Relations & Communications Officer at the Association of Graduates Mutual Assistance of NCOA (Non-Commissioned Officer Academy).

• Since 2024: Head of the Joint Public Relations Office of the three twinned associations.

• Since 2023: Volunteer at the Public Relations Office of the Hellenic Association of Retired Army Officers.

• Since 2025: Co-founder of the page "The voice of the Higher Military Schools for Non-Commissioned Officers graduates" 

ΟBJECTIVE

His ongoing commitment lies in active service, collaboration, and promoting the values of the military, volunteerism, and solidarity.
