Music for Special Needs

I started doing music therapy work many years ago. I immediately had an innate talent for this work, as results came easily. For the last several years I have been working for the West Contra Costa School District in the Bay Area as a music therapist. I have had great success with long-term, direct service clients, as well as group classes. Below is a video that shows excerpts from a regular Therapuetic Music Class that I did at Oak Hill School in San Anselmo. You can see here a few of the different approaches that I use in my work.
