Welcome! I'm a music teacher and musician with a wealth of knowledge across multiple instruments. As a music educator, I'm dedicated to helping students of all ages develop their skills and passions in music. With my extensive experience and expertise in a variety of styles, I offer a well-rounded education for every student. Whatever instrument you play and wherever you're starting from, I'll meet you there and help you grow as a musician.
With twenty-seven years of experience teaching music, I offer both in-person and online lessons to help students of all ages pursue a lifelong journey into music. While there are plenty of online resources for self-study, most people find that working with a coach and keeping regularly scheduled sessions helps them stay focused and actually reach their musical goals. The pandemic gave me the opportunity to start teaching online, and I was surprised to find I enjoyed it just as much as in-person teaching, with results that were just as effective.
Currently I am teaching the following instruments and subjects:
Saxophone, clarinet, flute, piano, guitar, rhythm and rhyme, music reading, and songwriting.
