During my second year at Delft University of Technology, there was a call out for steady students able (and willing) to support a fellow student in the form of becoming a study buddy. Then, realising that I may have learned helpful techniques, I immediately reached out to sign up for the programme. After being paired up with a student, we devised a study plan, evaluated the progress and redirected course on a quarterly basis, and had bi-weekly dedicated study sessions together.
Translation: "A Study Buddy is a fellow student who supports a student with a functional disability, chronic illness or another specific request for assistance by reducing the barriers barriers that the student encounters during their studies as much as possible. The TU Delft Study Buddy Project contributes to a good (re)start of their studies and offers students who need help an equal chance of successfully completing a course."
