In the year 2020 I spent time in Cambridge in preparation for my start at to Delft University of Technology. My time there helped me develop into an independent person as well as greatly improve both my written as spoken English skills.
Being in the presence of the great Cambridge University and the idyllic colleges, made me fall in love with the English University life.
At the time I scheduled to take a C2 level exam, but due to the spread of covid-19 this was ultimately cancelled.
Fortunately, before the complete lock-down, I was able to participate in many interesting events and enjoy English pints ;).
One of the events I frequented is the series of guest lectures at Cambridge University. These covered the topics such as astrophysics, planetary exploration, and in a particular instance Alan Turing and today's enigmas.
In February of 2020 I received the honour of being awarded student of the month due to my active engagement with fellow students and Cambridge University.
