Individual psychotherapy offers a confidential space to explore difficulties that may feel painful, confusing, or difficult to understand on your own. Some people come with a clear question or concern, while others simply have a sense that something is not quite right, even if they cannot yet put it into words.
I work within a psychodynamic tradition with an individual and group analytic orientation. Together we explore not only the difficulties that bring you to therapy, but also the patterns, relationships, and experiences that may have shaped them over time. Rather than focusing solely on symptom relief, psychotherapy aims to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your way of relating to others.
People seek individual psychotherapy for many different reasons. These may include relationship difficulties, family conflicts, work-related challenges, experiences of loss or transition, recurring emotional patterns, questions of identity or belonging, or a general sense of feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed.
Psychotherapy develops at your own pace. Some people come for a relatively focused piece of work, while others choose a longer-term process that allows deeper exploration and lasting change.
Sessions last 50 minutes and are available in person in Brussels or online, depending on what is most appropriate for the therapeutic work.
