Alongside individual psychotherapy, I offer weekly group psychotherapy within the group analytic tradition.
Group psychotherapy provides a unique opportunity to explore yourself in relation to others. Many of the patterns that shape our lives emerge in relationships — in families, friendships, intimate partnerships, workplaces, and communities. A therapy group offers a safe and confidential setting in which these patterns can gradually become visible, understood, and worked through.
I work within a group analytic framework. Rather than following a fixed agenda or teaching specific techniques, the group develops through open conversation. Over time, members begin to recognise recurring patterns, discover new ways of relating, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and others.
The groups are small (up to eight members), meet weekly for 90 minutes, and are slow-open, meaning that new members join gradually rather than everyone beginning and ending together. This allows the group to develop continuity while remaining open to new participants.

My longest-running therapy group has been meeting weekly for over 16 years. Such continuity allows trust, understanding, and therapeutic work to deepen over time while each new member gradually becomes part of the life of the group.
Because group psychotherapy is not suitable for everyone, an individual assessment and preparatory meetings take place before joining a group. This helps us consider together whether group therapy is the right setting for you and prepares you for the experience of entering an ongoing group.
I currently facilitate weekly English-speaking groups in Brussels. New applications are welcome throughout the year.
