Simple Four
Step #1
Make a "Plan" so you understand the specifics of your project.
Can you tell what your project is about? Do you know the specific topic that you want to research? Do you have a plan for the type of information that you will need?
Step #2
"Act" by gathering reliable and current sources. Looking for some educator approved reliable sources, check this list out or visit your ClassLink page!
Read at least 3 sources for each aspect of your research. Take notes from each resource in which you find information. Make a record of each source you read in case you want or need to go back to the information at a later time.
Step #3
Next, "Organize" the information you gathered into a logical presentation or paper, being careful to give credit to the sources of all the information you read or used.

Step #4
Now that you have a product to show for your research, "Reflect" on what you have done to make certain your facts are accurate and supported and that your presentation or paper is a reflection of your best efforts.
