Meet Mrs. Baccomo

Welcome! My name is Emily Baccomo, and I am the librarian here at LEMS. This is my 14th year in education, and I am very excited about this school year.

I am originally from Winnsboro, S.C., and in 2009, I graduated from Clemson University. After graduation, I returned to Winnsboro, where I taught 4th through 6th grade, mostly math and science. In 2012, I graduated from Columbia College where I received my Master's degree in Education. I received my second Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina in 2019.  I consider myself a lifelong learner, and I enjoy discovering new things, especially technology, to share with my students and colleagues.   

I currently live in Lugoff with my husband, Jason, and our two sons, Jay and Ben.  Sometimes, I feel like I live in a zoo because we have 4 dogs (Lilly, Toby, Ollie, and Sasha) and a cat (Tiger). When I am not at school, you can find me spending time with family and friends, baking, reading, exercising, and cheering for my Clemson Tigers!
