Teaching and playing music has been our passion for over twenty years. We have been teaching all over the chicagoland area and in the Lemont area since 2012. Working with students to reach their musical potential has always been our goal. We cater to your interests and teach the music YOU want to learn. Working with students and families to create positive musical experiences through lessons with great people in a structured professional environment is what our students have always been able to count on. We thank the hundreds of families that have trusted us with their music education throughout the years and hope you become a member of our musical family today.
Our approach and experience working with students and families is unparalleled in the industry. We teach the music you want to learn always thinking of the wide scope of music making. Once you gain preliminary skills, we place all our students into music groups. The social aspect of music making is one of the most important parts of what we do at LMA. We want our students and parents to make connections with other like minded individuals that will last a lifetime. We have worked tirelessly to create curriculum for you and your child. We believe in success, every step of the way. You will see that our background, education and approach is better that the rest.

1 hour private lessons which are one on one with the instructor
1 hour semi private lessons, 2-3 students per class.
1 hour group lessons, 4-10 students in a class
How much do lessons cost?
Lessons range in price based on length and type of lessons. We strive to offer competitive rates while offering top notch lessons. Please contact us with the type of lessons you are interested and we will give you the current pricing.
How often are lessons held?
Lessons occur weekly.
How do you bill?
We send out an invoice for the month ahead to each student for the number of lessons in a given month. The family has the option to pay via credit card with the button on the emailed invoice or bring cash/check to their lesson. Lesson fees are due the first week of each month.
Do I have to commit to a month of lessons? I'm not sure if me or my child will want to sign up.
For new students, we recommend signing up for a trial lesson with one or multiple teachers. This will give you an opportunity to meet the teacher and play the instrument in a lesson setting. It also gives you a clear idea of the teachers style and if it will work for you. You can try out several teachers and pick the one that you think will work best for you.
What if I have to cancel or can't attend a lesson?
We have a strict 24 hour lesson cancellation policy. If you do not come to your lesson or do not call to cancel within 24 hours of your lesson, your fee is charged and there are no make up lessons available. However, if you give us at least 24 hours notice, we will do everything in our power to schedule you a lesson at a time that works for you. If there are no available make ups, we offer a lesson credit for a maximum of 2 times per semester, in which your paid fee will carry over to the next month.
Do you rent instruments?
Yes! we rent almost every instrument that we teach. We strive to be a one stop shop so that all you have to do is focus on coming to your lessons and practicing at home.
Do you sell instruments?
Yes! We offer instruments at all price points, and only sell and carry instruments that are ready to play and good quality. What we don't have, we can get and our experience in the industry of music instruments can leave you rest assured that you or your child will have a quality instrument to learn on.
What about books and material?
We take care of that too! Our instructors use the most comprehensive and effective methods available today. We also host our own curriculum that is performance based. The teacher and student select the best method for each student based on what the student needs and wants to learn.
Is there a registration fee?
We do not have a formal registration fee. However, as part of our curriculum, we do require our students to have our assignment notebook which keeps track of student homework and keeps track of points a student earns to exchange for prizes. The cost for this assignment notebook is 25$ and last for the year. New students will also receive a drawstring backpack to carry their materials in.
Do student perform in any concerts?
Yes! We organize 2-4 concerts per year that we encourage students to participate in. Students are not required to participate but we strongly encourage students to perform as it is an important part of the learning process.
