Fall 2024, and (to be) Fall 2025
You can watch a clip from IU NewsNet Daily feature of the course's "Halloween Trashion Fashion Show" where we blend sustainability, innovation, and robotics development within course. I am dressed up as "The scary googler" for halloween, as I was constantly reminding students that in the current learning atmosphere, sometimes the best thing you can do is learn "how to 'google' the right thing" so that you can continue to build on the skills you learn in the classroom.
As a TA, I was in charge of hands-on prototyping and design ideation along with my fellow TA and Instructor, Dr. Selma Šabanović
Check out an article written about my role as a TA in the class in helping PhD students turn their good papers into great ones.

It has also been a privilege to get to speak as a featured speaker or guest lecturer at other schools, labs, and summer camps. In Spring of 2025, I worked with Hellen Kyler to guest Lecture for a Human Factors class on Value Sensitive Design at Butler University in Indianapolis. I have also spoken to other Lab groups within my field, such as the MIRROR Lab at Colorado school of mines and the Affective Computing Lab at Cambridge University about new and upcoming work. I have also spoken at IU Luddy Summer camps, including the Precollege Summer Camp and the women's cybersecurity camp about privacy in the age of developing social robots and AI agents.

As a graduate student, I have had the privilege to mentor 10+ undergraduate research assistants. In a mentor role, I introduce them to the research process, including conducting literature reviews, working with human subjects and writing up papers or posters. In partnership with the Undergraduate Research Opportunities in Computing at Luddy school of Informatics, Computing and Engineering and Center of Excellence for Women in Technology, I have helped research assistants present their research to the IU community. Pictured is a selfie with a research assistant who is showing off the Haru4Kids system we developed content for in 2022 through 2024.

In the Summer of 2020-December 2021, I worked with Windtree Education, a non-profit that encourages students to be STEM leaders and innovators and fosters excitement and creativity. I was hired as a 3D Design instructor for their international class taught over Zoom. I also designed curriculum for their pilot English and Drama classes that will be offered to both domestic and international students. Specifically, they enhance their company's missions by increasing children's self confidence, communication skills, and connections to other children who express themselves differently. Feel free to watch video excerpts of my 3D design class, English class, and Drama class.
