Since the Summer of 2022, I have served as a vital part of organizing and facilitating the Luddy Precollege Program as the Camp Coordinator. In my role, I coordinated with counselors, directors, and STEM educators to put on a week long, sleep-away summer camp for 80-100 high school students. Currently, I am planning this year's camp with our wonderful counselors, instructors and directors.
Given my advocacy for children's rights and their participation as active members in my work, I believe it is vital that I am part of the city's youth STEM education and community. I am a frequent participant at school STEM nights, including McCormick's Creek and Grandview Elementary.
In addition to doing research in community centers, I also offered programming at community centers and afterschool programs through Banneker Community Center and Fairview Elementary in Bloomington, Indiana.
I also find ways to be a familiar face at the Wonderlab science museum and part of their offered programming / community partners such as their summer Wondercamp.
I am proud to be an active organizer in my professional community. In particular, making space for the community to consider how to design privacy-aware robots with and for users.

Looking forward to continuing to organize and bring community scholars and stakeholders together!
For four years in college, I was a counselor named "Frizzle" with Camp Kesem Berkeley, an organization that supports children through and beyond a parent's cancer. This year, I am proud to be one of Camp Kesem Berkeley's Operations Coordinators! I am in charge of programming and planning every activity we present to the community. A large part of my responsibility is designing programming that is equitable, inclusive and accessible for every camper. We plan miniature days of camp every semester, send home asynchronous activities, and plan a week long summer camp at no cost to our campers. I get to pour my heart, my quirky ideas, my songs, my grooving, and my passion into all the work I do to ensure that our campers get to have fun and feel a little Kesem magic, regardless of whether we are on Zoom or if we will be in person. Working with my four-member operations team, as well as our larger coordinator team, has given me perspective on the many responsibilities and logistics of running a non-profit. I feel privileged to gain so much experience in coordination and planning while also filling our community with fun and exciting activities.
My wonderful operations and teen leadership programming team.
