SPRINT 02
MILESTONE BREAKDOWN
Comment: I have spent too much time on the design of documents and timelines. I need to allocate more time for system implementation because completing the mechanism is the most important aspect. The arrangement of the timeline can be adjusted later, and the design of the timeline and mechanism cannot be perfected in one go. Therefore, I must be more attentive to time planning next time.
FINAL LEVEL BLOCKOUT
ZONE EXPLAIN (MECHANICS EXPLAIN)
Mechanic 01
A number (representing a clock time position) appears above the boss’s head.
Players must first defeat a "Clock hand" minion to obtain a clock hand, then drag it to the correct time position before the countdown ends.
Mechanic 02
A number (representing a clock time position) appears above the boss’s head.
A first countdown timer appears above the player's head.
When the timer ends, the boss records the player's current position, and an AOE will be placed at that location.
The player must be standing inside the clock region that corresponds to the time shown above the boss's head.
Then, a second countdown begins. When it ends, the player will be teleported back to the recorded position.
If the recorded position matches the correct clock sector (based on the boss's time), the player is safe.
If not, the player will take damage.
Mechanic 03
The minute hand begins to rotate automatically, and players must observe the clock in the sky.
If the sky clock hand rotates clockwise, then the clockwise angle between the hour and minute hands on the ground clock will deal damage.
If the sky clock hand rotates counterclockwise, then the counterclockwise angle between the hour and minute hands on the ground clock will deal damage.
Players need to observe the rotation direction of the sky clock and the speed of the hour hand on the ground to solve the mechanic and anticipate the AOE.
Mechanic 04
The clock hands on the ground and either one clock hand in the sky rotate simultaneously.
The inner ring represents the hour hand’s radius; the outer ring represents the minute hand’s radius.
If the sky clock shows the hour hand rotating, the inner ring on the ground will deal damage — the outer ring is safe.
If the sky clock shows the minute hand rotating, the outer ring will deal damage — the inner ring is safe.
