Strategic Partner Alliance

The goal of this activity is to bring everything together that we have learned up until this point in camp. This final event will involve building a robot to complete various tasks found inside our Robodogs Arena for Gladiators.

Rules

1. You will have a partner
2. You will control your robot with another EV3 brick using Bluetooth
3. You will have 2:30 minutes to accumulate as many points as possible

1. To develop the skills to design and build a robot that can maneuver in an arena
2. To create code that will allow the robot to pop balloons.
3. To explore Bluetooth technology to operate a robot

You will need a partner for this activity as two LEGO EV3 Mindstorms kits are needed.

You will spend all of day 3 building. We will use day 4 competing!

Each person will need

• One LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kit
• One extra EV3 brick for a controller
• A computer

You will need a partner as two people are needed.

Point Break Down

• Balls placed in safety square - 5 points a piece (total of 30 points)
• Balloons - 3 points for each one popped(total of 30 points)
• Wheel on top of bridge - 10 points
• Wheel moved across bridge to other side - 5 points

Total points: 75 points

Bonus points of 25 if you accomplish all missions and leave arena where you entered before time is up for a complete total of 100 points
