Anthony and his two brothers now head home after their exciting encounter with Chiron the centaur. On their way home Anthony and his brothers begin discussing just how they are going to explain this to their parents. They know that their parents still will not believe them even though they stole hair off of Chiron.
They arrive home and start by explaining everything that happened that day from Anthony going after Bigfoot to the brothers following him and ending up talking with Chiron. Andy pulls out the hair from his pocket and shows it to them. The parents just look at each other and do not say anything at first. Then the mother begins to tell the boys about how many years ago someone else claimed to have seen the creatures as well. Now the parents are a little more convinced and believe that they need to tell the city officials.
The next morning the mother and father head to the town square where they start telling every important person they can find about what their boys have witnessed. Eventually a crowd begins to form around them and they decide to pull out the hair that the boys brought home.
Parents are getting concerned for their kids and decide that they are going to go to the forest to find these creatures and put an end to them. Anthony hears of this and cannot believe this is happening. He did not mean for people to want to harm his new friends. All he wants is for people to know about them. He knows he must warn his new friends in the forest before the town's men get to them.
Anthony takes off running for the forest in a desperate hurry to find Bigfoot and Chiron. Again, he finds the footprints in the mud and follows them in hopes that they lead to Bigfoot. After searching for what seems likes forever, Anthony finds Bigfoot. He runs over to Bigfoot and starts telling him everything that has happened.
"Bigfoot, you have to get out of here! They are going to kill you if they find you!" Anthony says still panting from running.
"But me told you no tell people," Bigfoot says disappointedly.
Anthony with a sad heart says, "I know and I am so sorry but we do not have time to talk about that right now. You need to get out of these forests as fast as you can and do not ever come back!"
He does not want to be mean to Bigfoot but he knows that this is what is best for him. So, Anthony and Bigfoot hug and part ways for what Anthony knows will be the very last time. Bigfoot decides he will head for the Pacific Northwest to start a new life there.
Still sad from his time with Bigfoot, Anthony knows he needs to still find Chiron before the men of the town show. Chiron is a lot harder to catch as he does not leave huge footprints in the mud like Bigfoot does. One thing that Chiron does leave behind are his arrows. Chiron is always practicing his archery and so Anthony decides to follow the path of arrows stuck in the trees.
Anthony gets to the last tree with an arrow and begins looking around for Chiron and out of nowhere appears Chiron, just like the first time he met.
"Chiron, I have done a horrible thing and now everyone knows you are here and they want to kill you! You have to get out of these woods!" Anthony says fearfully as he hears the voices of men approaching.
"Young Anthony, a centaur never runs from a fight and I will not be the first," Chiron says calmly.
The voices grow louder and Anthony starts to panic.
"But, Chiron, it is my fault! Please, you have to leave! I cannot watch you die. Not like this!" Anthony screams.
But it becomes too late and the mob of the townsmen has appeared.
"Chiron, it is time for you to back down and leave forever." Yells one of the men.
They order Chiron to leave and yet Chiron just pulls out his bow and arrow and is ready to fight.
"I am sorry men of town but this forest has become home for me and I will not back down without a fight." Chiron calmly replies.
Of course one centaur against many men armed with bows and arrows does not stand much of a chance. Unfortunately this is the downfall of the wise Chiron. Anthony is devastated and feels completely responsible for his death. He decides to burry Chiron in the spot where they first met. The only grave marker is Chiron's bow and arrow.
Anthony returns home devastated but also glad that he was able to save Bigfoot before the men could get to him too. The past few days have been the craziest days of little Anthony's life but they are ones that will always be near and dear to his heart.

Author's Note:
I decided to make this the final story of Anthony and his new friends. Again the giant footprints are back and help Anthony find Bigfoot. These are one of the biggest pieces of evidence that are ever reported about Bigfoot so I wanted to bring them back. Bigfoot is headed to the Pacific Northwest because that is where a lot of Bigfoot sightings are reported. I wanted him to go to a place that meant a lot for Bigfoot and not to just leave the area. Chiron was more stubborn and did not want to leave even though Chiron is known to be wise. Chiron is also known for his great archery skills so I decided to make that a bigger part of the story as well. In one legend of Chiron's death he stabbed with an arrow by Hercules, so I decided it would be fitting if the angry men in the story had arrows and that is how he dies in this story too. The townspeople had a run -in with Bigfoot and Chiron in years past and while they never harmed anyone the people were concerned that something may happen this time. The previous time they had just run the creatures out of town but this time they decided the only way it could end would be for the creatures to die.
