As Anthony climbs down from the tree he begins walking towards the unknown. He only saw a glimpse of it when he was up in the tree and is still not sure what he saw. Was it another human? He is heading in the direction towards the stream which is where he saw the mysterious thing. As he is walking he is noticing very large footprints in the mud. He walks up to them and compares his own footprint to the ones in the mud. They are at least three times the size of his own! He is thinking to himself, "Could there be a giant human in these woods?"

Needing to know he keeps on walking in the same direction the footprints are going. He finally finds what is making all these footprints in the mud. In the distance he can see a large, tall, dark, hairy beast. Anthony is staring into the eyes of Bigfoot.

Bigfoot is this incredibly hairy-looking man-ape. He walks upright like a man but he looks just like an ape. He is standing in the stream hunting for fish when he spots Anthony.

Anthony is shocked. He can't seem to move out of fright. He just stares at Bigfoot as it stares right back. Anthony is terrified of what will happen next. Will Bigfoot want to hurt him? Will it chase him? He just waits to see what Bigfoot does.

Finally Bigfoot starts slowly making his way towards Anthony. Unsure if he should run or not Anthony decides to stay put. Bigfoot, now only feet away from Anthony, just stops and stares.

Bigfoot sticks his arm out to touch Anthony, not rough but in a playful way. He pushes Anthony's shoulder and Anthony falls to the ground. Not realizing how strong he was Bigfoot feels bad and helps him up off the ground.

Anthony is still not sure what to think about this beast standing right in front of him. He had heard stories of this legendary creature but no one had ever actually laid eyes on it. Was he the first? Or had no one else lived to tell the tale?

Anthony decides since Bigfoot touched him he would try and touch Bigfoot back. Bigfoot is thrilled by this and believes that Anthony wants to play and begins clapping and smiling. Anthony out loud says, "I can't wait to tell everyone about you! They are not going to believe that I actually found you."

Bigfoot's face immediately turns from happy to sad. He is now very concerned by this and starts shaking his head no. Bigfoot cannot let anyone else know that he exists. His whole life depends on him being unknown and lost.

Anthony begins to run to tell everyone and Bigfoot is chasing after him. He catches Anthony just before the break in the trees that opens to the small town of Hospet.

Bigfoot surprisingly can speak a few words and he keeps repeating "no.. no.. noooo!"

Anthony is starting to pick up on what Bigfoot is trying to say.

Bigfoot begins to say, "You no tell. Bad for me."

Anthony doesn't understand why Bigfoot would not want others to know about him. He can be famous if others just knew about him!

"Catch me. Hurt me," explains Bigfoot.

Anthony tells Bigfoot that he will keep his secret and will not tell anyone else. Anthony is hiding the fact that he has every intention of telling everyone about what he found.

Anthony and Bigfoot part ways for what they think would be the last time.
