In almost every workplace, sexual harassment is a severe issue. The risk and how to mitigate this risk are essential, for which the management and every worker must understand the law in Hong Kong. We consider the definition of sexual assault from the historical context and legislation in this course, discuss improvements to the law, and understand how the possibility of issues ofsexual harassment in the workplace should get assessed and treated.
Sara Tsui is a solicitor in Hong Kong and a consultant at Khoo & Co. Requestors. She is a Teaching Fellow at Hong Kong City University, where she has lectured on Tort Law, Animal Law, the Hong Kong Legal System, and Banking Law. Sara is from the Universal Prestige Inc. Manager of Services. Ltd. and serves as the Critical Animal Studies Institute’s Asia Leader. She is also an Honorary Legal Expert for Animal Cruelty Prevention; a distinction only offered to three HKSARs.
Ms. Tsui has served as an investigator for the Hong Kong Certificate in High School Education Transfer Commission of the PCLL and Legal Studies. She is an author of several published legal texts and has substantial newspaper interest and coverage of many legal topics.
