The snow has now deepened, blanketing the landscape in a soft layer that muffles the sound of any prey that would be underneath. Patches of ice now hold firm across streams, ponds, and on the edges of the lake. While the cold is palpable, it is still bearable on most days.
As for the clans individually
RiverClan: The riverbeds now flow more sluggishly beneath a blanket of ice and snow, making it much harder to catch the creatures beneath the barrier. Fishing becomes tedious, requiring patience and strength to break through the ice.
ShadowClan: The shadows deepen among the pines and marsh as snow clings to the limbs and settles into the swampy ground. However those who are used to hunting in the marsh quickly adapt to this, making movement more stealthy even in the white snow.
WindClan: On the expansive moors, the snow stretches out in vast, wind-swept plains. Here the cold bites sharper, but visibility stretches far. Some may seek warmth in the tunnels at this time, and so will prey, since prey will be mostly scarce on the barren moors temporarily.
SkyClan: Snowdrifts in the valleys offer a difficulty as well as a means of concealment. With the arrival of snow, the valleys become difficult terrain, requiring dexterity and strategic preparation to negotiate the slopes and outcroppings. Kittypets/Daylight Warriors who travel to SkyClan may find this time a bit difficult.
ThunderClan: Through the thick woodland and rugged terrain, snow turns well-traveled paths into dangerous pathways. Cats have to adapt, and it's best if they utilize their sense of location to hunt and patrol in big groups.
