Legacy Coach - Privacy Policy

Legacy Coach is built so your data stays on your iPhone. This policy explains exactly what we do and do not collect.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Nothing. Legacy Coach does not have servers. We do not have user accounts on our end. We do not run analytics, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking. Nothing you log inside the app is transmitted to us.
WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
The following data is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData):
• Profile information you enter (name, age, weight, height, goals)
• Workouts, sets, reps, and weights you log
• Meals, macros, and weigh-ins you log
• Weekly check-ins and progress photos
• App settings and preferences
You can delete all of this at any time from inside the app (Settings → Reset / Delete Data) or by deleting the app.
SIGN IN WITH APPLE
If you choose to sign in, Apple gives the app a stable user identifier so we can recognise you across re-launches. This identifier is stored on your device only. It is never sent to us because we have no server to send it to.
APPLE HEALTH
If you grant Health permission, Legacy Coach reads weight and workout data from Apple Health and writes new entries back to Apple Health on your device. This data is governed by Apple's HealthKit privacy rules. It does not leave your iPhone through Legacy Coach.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles all payment information and we never see your card details. Apple provides us with anonymous purchase confirmations so the app knows whether to unlock premium features. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchase data.
NOTIFICATIONS
If you grant notification permission, the app schedules reminders locally on your device. These reminders do not pass through any server.
CHILDREN
Legacy Coach is not intended for children under 13. The App Store age rating reflects this.
YOUR RIGHTS (UK GDPR / EU GDPR / CCPA)
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no central database to access, correct, or delete. Your rights to access, correct, port, restrict processing of, or delete your data are fulfilled by your direct control of the data on your device:
• Access: open the app to view it all
• Export: tap More → Export Data
• Delete: Settings → Reset / Delete Data, or delete the app
If you ever believe we hold data about you, email us and we will confirm we do not.
CHANGES
If we ever start collecting data, we will update this policy and ask for your consent through an in-app screen before any collection begins.
