[Invited Talk] University of Seoul (November 12th, 2024)

I had the honor of giving a talk at the Department of Civil Engineering at University of Seoul, thanks to the gracious invitation of Professors Soojin Cho and Sunjoong Kim. I was truly impressed by the bright and inquisitive expressions in the students' eyes.

[News] Selected for the NRF Postdoctoral Research Project

Project title: Development of a probabilistic fatigue assessment framework for floating cable bridges based on multiphysics simulation

Persistence paid off on my fifth attempt since my Ph.D. days, and I’m thrilled to have been selected for the NRF project. It’s incredibly rewarding as a young researcher, and I’m eager not only to produce meaningful results but also to discover a significant research direction through this project.

[Conference] KSSC Conference, Jeju (June 2024)

I attended the KSSC conference with my colleagues, and presented on the impact of heterogeneous terrain into wind characteristics and pressure on low-rise building.

These days, I come to Jeju Island and stare at the ocean, hoping it will tell me what to eat except black-pork and sashimi......

Upon receiving an invitation from Prof. Yeun Chul Park, I had the opportunity to present recent research findings to graduate students and postdoctoral researchers at Inha University, which proved to be an invaluable experience.

The best conference line-up ever: advisor, postdoc advisor, professor who collaborated on proposals (even though the results were not good), and father-in-law.

My very first COSEIK conference. I don't know the reason, but four people took pictures of my presentation.
