Reggio Inspired Approach and Emergent Bi- and Multilingual Language Learners
The Dean Emeritus, Dr. Brenda Fyfe, and I spearheaded a project to investigate the application of Reggio Inspired Approach for affirming the rights of emergent bi- and multilingual language learners.
The research project has been funded by the Faculty Research Grant and The Beatrice and David Kornblum Institute for Teaching Excellence.
The project included a study tour in Italy in 2019. A total of 10 researchers from various universities and institutions were involved: Brenda, myself, Gigi Yu, Juana Reyes, Cheryl Breig-Allen, Jennifer Strange, Nahid Hashemi, Baji Rankin, DJ Kaiser, and Jesus Oviedo.
