This course for 8th grade students aims to help them understand the Pythagorean Theorem both theoretically and in relation to daily life problems. A warm-up activity is organized to help students recognize triangle structures in daily life and improve their mathematical thinking skills. A visually rich presentation using Canva is used to cover the definition of the Pythagorean Theorem, its mathematical formula, and real-life problems. Interactive questions and Web 2.0 tools are used to encourage active participation and make the lesson more interactive. At the end of the lesson, music related to the Pythagorean Theorem is played to reinforce the learning process and make the lesson more enjoyable. This course enables students to see the Pythagorean Theorem as a part of their lives, making learning permanent through visual and auditory richness.
