This site was created as part of the Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms (TGC) Program, a U.S. Department of State–funded initiative that "equips educators to bring an international perspective to their schools through targeted training, experience abroad, and global collaboration."
As an anthropologist and humanities educator, I’m passionate about helping students see themselves as part of a connected, interdependent world. Through Fulbright programs, including TGC and Fulbright-Hays Seminars Abroad (Finland 2024), I’ve deepened my commitment to global education—a practice that cultivates empathy, cultural awareness, and the skills to engage meaningfully with the wider world.
The global education resources and experiences shared here reflect learning in progress, and an invitation to join in!

About me
I'm a middle school humanities educator at Watershed School in Boulder, Colorado. I received my Ph.D. in anthropology from Binghamton University (SUNY), focusing on knowledge production and art-science collaborations in glassmaking. When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time outdoors with my husband, Luke, especially trail running. I also love volunteering at Colorado Horse Rescue and Intercambio, where I work with English language learners. I'm currently participating in the 2024-2025 Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Program, and was a Fulbright Hays Seminars Abroad Fellow in Finland in the summer of 2024.
