Background and Motivation
My passion for teaching is fuelled by my curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. Helping students understand new ideas and gain confidence in their abilities is incredibly rewarding.
During my time working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school, I developed a strong ability to adapt lessons to different learning needs. Supporting a class with diverse abilities, including students with additional educational needs, helped me develop practical skills in communication, classroom management, and personalised support.
My Teaching Philosophy
I believe that education should help students feel capable, confident, and curious about the world around them. I base my lessons on:
building confidence
making complex topics easier to understand
connecting subjects to real-world examples
creating relaxed, supportive learning environments

Inclusive Teaching
As someone who was diagnosed as neurodivergent as a young adult, I understand how important it is for students to feel recognised, represented, and supported.
I aim to create lessons where every student feels comfortable asking questions, expressing ideas, and learning in a way that works for them.
