Real-World Learning
I have travelled widely and experienced different cultures firsthand, which allows me to bring real-world examples into lessons.
Topics such as urbanisation, globalisation, environmental change, and landscapes and ecosystems become much easier to understand when connected to real places and experiences.
Every student learns differently, so lessons are adapted to suit individual learning styles.
Lessons may include:
discussion and explanation
visual diagrams
real-world examples
structured exam practice
interactive activities
I aim to create a low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable learning and asking questions, with the goal of helping students to:
understand key concepts clearly
develop their exam technique
connect theories to real-world examples
build confidence with case studies
