What is Consciousness and What is it Good For?

Why do you have all these feelings and sensations in your everyday life? Do they have a purpose? Would you act the same without them? These are the questions we address in this article. We introduce the concept of conscious experience and overview the methods that scientists use to study them. Not an easy task! Finally, we present the benefits of studying consciousness.
