At Camp Shiloh, a faith-based camp in Woodridge, NY, I had the wonderful opportunity work in the role of Audio Visual Director for the summer. In this role, I took photographs and videos of the campers and staff as they went through different activities during their sessions. When those sessions came to an end, I created an "End of the Session" video that showed all the highlights of what the campers completed and the moments they had during their stay.
In this role I developed a deeper understanding of photography and how to use an image to tell a story. The photos that I took not only had a significant impact on the campers, but is also something Shiloh now uses for their marketing and promotions to show what the camp is all about. Another plus to this role was being able to captureĀ these memories for the campers, and being able to gain a bond with them throughout each and every session.
