Machine Learning Tool: Beta Test Team for 2021 Season

We were graciously selected in 2021 by FIRST to be apart of their Machine Learning Tool Beta Software. This allowed us to test a core mechanic of Freight Frenzy's game. This tool helped us recognize our own 3D printed shipping element on the field during the autonomous portion of the game. This action doubled our points when it worked. It furthered our experience in the coding as we learned how to use it throughout the year. We were very thankful to be selected as one of the first teams to use this software. We felt this helped us when the site was launched for public use. For the many teams that had questions, we felt that we had the right answers for them. This experience was very beneficial to our coding knowledge and a great learning experience on many aspects of Gracious Professionalism©.

Summer Library Day

We had the privilege of going to one of our local libraries this summer with our sister team, Spare Parts. We had a blast doing it and got to reach over 80 kids. This was a part of one of their learning Tuesday program. We gave them our PowerPoint about what FIRST and robotics is and had an open invitation to join the local FTC community team, Spare Parts.
