I am Subhashree Mishra(Ph.D) done my Ph.D research work in the field of heterogeneous nano-catalysis for the Biomass Conversion, Organic Transformation using industrial solid waste such as Red Mud, Fly Ash.
Currently I am working as CSIR-RA in LCPE Lab on the topic Strategic tunning of Ni/Co bimetallic catalyst supported on CeO2-ZrO2 system : insights of CeO2-ZrO2 ratio and OSC on activity and stability for DRM. ii) DFT calculation of different metal oxides.
My specialization is heterogeneous catalysis with a focus on CO₂ methanation, dry reforming of methane (DRM), and methane cracking. My work emphasizes catalyst development, reaction kinetics, and reaction engineering to support sustainable energy conversion and carbon recycling technologies.
My research is centered on the development of metal and metal-alloy based novel catalytic materials using First-principle DFT studies for the activation of CO2. I aim to unravel the fundamental mechanisms of catalysis and translate these insights into practical applications.

My broad research area is Heterogeneous catalysis. Currently, I am working on the topic of “Dehydrogenation of Propane to Propylene using Mixed Metal Oxide catalysts.”

(PMRF)
Research topic: Synthesis, crystal structure, electronic structure and catalytic properties of Ni based intermetallics for hydrogenation reactions.
My specialization lies in catalyst synthesis, physico-chemical characterization and process modelling and simulation for thermochemical processes. My research primarily focuses on evaluating the promotional effect of Ni based catalysts on catalytic activity and stability during hydrogen production via ethanol reforming. In parallel, I work on developing process models to improve overall process performance, with particular emphasis on reducing enrergy consumption, enhancing yield and mitigating coke formation.
