Our Purpose

To train & mobilise legal professionals to spearhead more robust and effective action against climate change in Scotland

To advocate for legislation in line with, or more ambitious than, Scotland’s legal obligation of reaching net zero emissions by 2045, mandated in Scotland’s Climate Change Act and in line with the Paris Agreement.


To educate and raise awareness among lawyers, legal professionals, and law students on the relevance of their field in promoting climate action, based on scientific evidence


To advocate for legislation which ensures the continued health and protection of the world's ecosystems


Facilitate pro-bono legal assistance to groups working to address climate change


Ensure principles of climate justice through a Just Transition is integrated into Scotland’s climate legislation on mitigation and adaptation
