Dr. Mano is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Cincinnati, where he directs both the Laboratory for Cognition, Affect, and Neurodevelopment (LCAN) and the Dyslexia Assessment & Diagnostic Services. He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and completed an APA-accredited internship and postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of California, San Diego / San Diego Veterans Affairs Consortium. Dr. Mano’s research examines the neuropsychological foundations of learning across the lifespan, with ongoing projects on reading development, fluid reasoning, and cognition–emotion interactions.
Third-year graduate student in the Ph.D. Clinical Psychology graduate program at the University of Cincinnati. Roni graduated from Purdue University, earning a B.S. in Brain and Behavioral Science. Her current research interests are in child neuropsychology and brain-behavior relationships. Roni recently defended her Master's project, which examined the role of higher-order cognitive functioning in both phonological awareness rapid automatized naming among children being evaluated for learning difficulties.
Second year graduate student in the Ph.D. Clinical Psychology graduate program at the University of Cincinnati. She graduated from West Virginia University with a B.A. in Psychology. After obtaining her B.A. she worked as a psychometrist for three years before attending Middle Tennessee State University where she earned her master's degree in clinical psychology, with a focus on Neuropsychology. Her current research interests are in child neuropsychology and neurodevelopmental disorders. Cassie is currently working on a project designed to assess cognitive predictors of reading comprehension among children evaluated for developmental dyslexia.
Dr. Droder is completing a postdoctoral position at UH Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital.
Dr. Sylvia completed a postdoctoral position at the Family Institute at Northwestern University.
Dr. Turkelson is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School, Cambridge.
