I am a tenure track scientist at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and focus on advancing the intersection of natural language processing and healthcare. My work aims at making medical information more accessible to professionals and patients, especially in multilingual and Spanish-speaking contexts.
My research spans the creation of medical lexicons, datasets and annotation tools, clinical text annotation, dialogue systems and text simplification. I collaborate across interdisciplinary teams in computational linguistics and medical informatics.
