I am a tenure track scientist at the Spanish National Research Council (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas).
I was a postdoctoral researcher at Computational Linguistics Laboratory (LLI) of The Autonomous University of Madrid (InterTalentum UAM, Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND, 2019-2021). I was responsible for the NLPMedTerm project.
Between 2015 and 2018, I conducted postdoctoral research at LISN (CNRS), formerly known as LIMSI, in the ILES group (Information, Langue Écrite et Signée). I collaborated in developing a dialogue system that aims at providing ongoing education to medical doctors in simulated scenarios with virtual patients.
Previously, I worked in the area of corpus linguistics and the application of computers in linguistics at LLI-UAM (2006-2014). Since 2011, I have been working on corpora, terminology and natural language processing in the medical domain.
