Emission Control Technologies in Thermal Processes
Centered on source control, this area develops innovative technologies to mitigate hazardous emissions from waste-to-energy and resource recycling systems. Our team specializes in suppressing the formation of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) during the thermal treatment of electronic waste and Solid Recycled Fuels (SRF) by utilizing novel waste-derived inhibitors. We also investigate the detoxification and stabilization of incineration residues, such as bottom ash and fly ash, to enhance their reusability in construction materials (e.g., autoclaved aerated concrete). This integrated approach ensures that energy recovery processes remain environmentally sustainable and compliant with strict emission standards.
