LBW Thrive is a grassroots, community-based initiative developed by Lurleen B. Wallace Community College to provide one-to-one support and connections that empower students to overcome barriers, build resilience, and persist through earning post-secondary credentialling.

PROMISE
LBW Promise supports high school seniors at Andalusia, Opp, Florala, Pleasant Home, Red Level, and Straughn High Schools, with a focus on students who may be unsure about their post-secondary plans.
Students are paired with a Guide from the community who provides personalized support throughout their senior year. Students are encouraged to connect openly with their Guide as they navigate decisions about their future.
Working alongside school faculty, Career Coaches, and the LBW Success Coach, the Promise Program ensures students are supported as they transition from high school to their next step—whether college, training, or the workforce.
SAINT 2 SAINT
LBW Saint2Saint Program pairs incoming freshman students with current LBW students to ease the transition to college specifically during their first two semesters.
