What is Lifebread?

Lifebread is more than a bakery or a mini farm—it's the story of our family, our faith, and God's abundant provision. Inspired by Jesus' words, "I am the Bread of Life" (John 6:35), our mission is to share the blessings we've been given through homemade food, honest farming, and Christian hospitality.

Located in Bogalusa, Louisiana, our little farm is home to honeybees, chickens, rabbits, and a growing collection of handcrafted pantry favorites. From pure honey harvested from our own hives to homemade jellies, preserves, pickles, artisan breads, and beeswax products, everything we create is made in small batches with care and gratitude.

Lifebread began during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic with a simple desire to bless our community by baking fresh bread for local blessing boxes. What started as a small act of service has grown into a family farm where faith, family, and Southern traditions come together around the table.
