My design for Exit the King by Eugene Ionesco was initially pitched during a Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) hosted by LMU over the Summer of 2022.
Over the course of this program, I researched the play, it's author, and the various critiques and commentary that existed on the work, culminating in a reference packet (linked on the left photo) and a final design.

Each platform was custom made with slatted wall panels that flippedd 180 degrees at the end of the show. On the left is Marie's Throne, center is the King's Throne, and the right is Marguerite's Throne.
