Dr. Alyssa Lawson is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Colby College, teaching in the Psychology Department. Prior to this, she was a Research Associate at Landmark College Institute for Research and Training. Her research interests focus on the role of individual differences, executive function, attention, instructional design, and educational technology on learning and transfer of knowledge. She graduated with her PhD in Psychological and Brain Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She also has a Master's in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Chapman University. Outside of teaching and research, Alyssa loves to crochet, read, and hang out with her dog, Chester.
