February 2026

• Addie, Becky, & Dr. Lawson will be presenting a poster covering research on learning objectives on Friday @ 2:30pm at the 2026 Eastern Psychological Association Annual Conference in Boston, MA.

• Dr. Lawson has had 2 publications accepted for publication: (1) Direct Comparison of Concept Mapping and Knowledge Mapping For Learning Science Content in Journal of Experimental Education and (2) Inserting Generative Learning Activities During Pauses in Slideshow and Virtual Reality Lessons in Journal of Computer Assisted Learning.

January 2026 

• Our poster has been accepted for the 2026 Eastern Psychological Association Annual Conference. 

• The Lawson Learning Lab is welcoming 2 new Research Assistants to the lab for the Spring 2026 semester: Allison Liu and Lizzie Valdmanis.

December 2025

• Our newest paper, "Systematically Reviewing the Rigour of Immersive Virtual Reality Research in STEM Education: A Deep Dive Into Threats to Internal Validity" was accepted for publication in Journal of Computer Assisted Learning.
