This garden bed was designed to create an immersive, nature-centered experience. Each plant was carefully selected not only for its color and beauty but also for its ability to attract and support local wildlife. With a focus on pollinators and birdlife, the space includes a hummingbird feeder, bird feeder, and oriole feeder, along with a diverse selection of flowers that appeal to bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and even hummingbird moths.
This bed also features thoughtful connections to other areas of the landscape through the inclusion of a Japanese White Pine and additional hydrangeas. While most of the hydrangeas on the property are sun-loving varieties, this shaded section allows for the incorporation of partial sun hydrangeas—making it a unique and complementary feature within the overall design.
